We understand that plans can change, so here's our cancellation policy for River Deck Marina boat rentals:

• Cancellation 24 Hours Prior to Scheduled Departure: If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled departure time to receive a full refund.
• Day-of Cancellation Due to Inclement Weather: If we encounter inclement weather at the time of departure, resulting in a cancellation on the day of your reservation, you will receive a full refund.
• Once You Leave the Dock: Please note that once you leave the dock, no refund or credit will be issued.

If the lessee grounds or disables the vessel, a $250.00 recovery fee will be applied. Additionally, any damages to the rental boat will incur repair costs payable by the lessee.

Furthermore, exceeding the defined cruising boundaries may result in restrictions on future rentals, and the recovery fee will be doubled.

Please note we provide life vest for adults for the maximum capacity of the vessel. If you have children aboard  under the age of 6  they must wear an approved life vest at all times. We do offer children's life vest, supplies are limited and are on a first come first serve basis.  Infant and Toddlers will not be provided a life vest and will need to acquire. Some places that sell infant and toddler are Bass Pro, Academy sports, and Walmart.

 Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, must have a Boating Safety Education Identification Card to legally operate a boat in Florida. Below are a list of classroom and online options for taking an FWC-approved boater safety course.   https://myfwc.com/boating/safety-education/id/

We work with several local captains whom you may directly hire to pilot our rental boats. The fee for their services is separate and negotiable, and you can discuss it directly with the captain of your choice. Check out our list of captains at www.riverdeckmarina.com/charters for more information.

For safety and liability insurance reasons, our rental boats are not permitted to tow tubes, water skiers, or any other water sports equipment or vessels. This policy ensures the safety of all passengers and compliance with our insurance requirements.
